This is a day for our hockey family to come together with good food, live music, games, a silent auction, raffle and dessert auction. We need your help, We are asking each family to donate or get donated a new raffle, silent auction or dessert auction. Please see donation letter request under forms on web-site. If you know of a business that you can get a donation from please e-mail Carrie Pavis with the name of this local business to prevent duplicate requests. The money raised on this day will be used to provide continuous support in the form of scholarships to families in need, old jersey replacement and additional equipment for new players. We will need many hands to put on this event, if you would like to help out, please contact Carrie Pavis at 519-5381 or pavismom2@yahoo.com.

Picture Time!

Here are the times for team and individual pictures. Please be at the rink and in all your gear with your picture envelope at your team’s time. Envelopes will be given to players one week prior to picture day.

Verbrugge's GOALIE CLINIC

 WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Beginner to experienced goaltenders wanting to improve their skills and conditioning.

 This clinic will be very challenging; goalies will need to be focused at all times! The 45 minutes on-rink session will be geared toward breaking down the mechanics of goaltending. Exercises will focus on stance, footwork, butterfly, slides and save selection. The goaltenders will face “live shooters” in drills. Goaltending staff will be on hand to provide analysis and feedback during the drills. This high octane workout will help you identify and maximize your strengths for use in your league play this season. Due to the high interest in this clinic we will now offer two groups per session.

 Our objective is to provide the goalies with a better understanding of the flexibility, strength, mobility, angles, and posture that is needed to be a better all around goalie. 

Fall Schedules are Up!

The practice and game schedules for our fall season are complete!You can find them on the Calendar tab on the left.  Practices are in light green, and games are in a darker green.  Coaches will be handing out hard copies of the schedules this week and next.  If you received a schedule earlier, please disregard, as some times have changed.

FALL 2010 SEASON

We have posted the Fall 2010 Season rosters and first few practices. Please look under teams to the left to see rosters and under calendar for practices. Coaches should be contacting all players to inform them of their first practice. Please contact Steve Horne, League Director at shorne@nvhsc.org should you have any questions.

AAU REGISTRATION

2011 Memberships Now Available
Starting Today, August 16th

All players must register for AAU insurance (see AAU Hockey Registration under "Registration") before start of the Player Evaluations. Follow the instructions for "Players".
